kenny_scarface asked Can anyone recommend a powerful cordless drill?
And got the following answer:
For the money, you can do alot worse then getting the Craftsman 19.2 hammerdrill. I've had mine for several years and used it while I was in construction and it never missed a beat and often outpermed the DeWalts that seemed to be prevalent. If you're a homeowner the Craftsman will take all you have to offer in stride keep wanting to do more, in construction, you will be able to keep easier track of your drill among the DeWalts and the Ridgids. Let me say I also have a Bosch 18v hammerdrill while it works very well, and can withstand falls from ladders, I still goto my Craftsman as it is lighter and can do all the things I want it to do as a Plumber, from drilling into concrete, to drilling holes into wood to driving screws into wood and metal. While my Bosch was $250, I paid $90 for my Craftsman. There are Lithium-powered tools out there but the costs are still high, and you can get the Craftsman for less than $100. I hope this helps. DK
