I am currently working on a science project, and to complete it I need a motor that will turn on or turn off based on if the temperature of something goes above or below a set temperature. So basically if I told a computer program that the motor should turn off when something was below 0 degrees celsius, or to turn on above 0 degrees celsius, it would. I am not against writing my own program for this, but I need some help finding a reliable motor/circuit board to use that would work (preferably USB connection). Thanks

Normally what you are doing is done with a simple temperature controller (see ref. below). A computer, program, USB connection and motor controller are way overkill for what you are doing.
