Even though the actual load would probably be considerably less than 430W, the drain on the battery would be heavy. Inverters are rarely more than 60% efficient -- that is, if you used an inverter to operate a 60-watt load, it would draw about 100W (almost 8A) from the battery. Your receiver may easily draw 200W or more at a "fairly loud" volume setting, corresponding to a battery drain of 333.34 watts, or about 26.5 A at 12.6V. That's a lot to ask of a car battery, which is intended to be recharged very soon after any significant power has been used from it. To get away with it, you would definitely need to keep the engine running. [The alternator, not the battery, would be the actual source of power in this case.] Also, I wouldn't try to operate any home stereo component from an inverter that didn't deliver a pure sine wave.
