george asked On the instrument panel of my 97 Grand Cherokee, a light and beep keeps coming on that says Coolant System Bad?
I replaced the entire coolant system (radiator, etc) some time ago and this light still keeps flashing. I looked in the manual and there is no indication of any coolant sensor. The temperature is fine but once in awhile I have a leak but not too often. It has been going on for about a year and still can't figure it out. Any suggestions as the beep is annoying.
And got the following answer:
Are you talking about in the information center that is on the dash underneath the radio? Those are notorious for the main module behind them going bad. Have you tried resetting the system by disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes?
